Instances that require ENA will start but cannot be connected to (connection refused). I am not a Unix admin and just trying to muddle through this. I followed the instructions here for enabling enhanced networking on Ubuntu.
I have an EC2 instance that was created probably 5-ish years ago and has had minimal maintenance since.
